A short announcement: New blog to come

Recently, I haven't been able to find something appropriate to talk about, and seriously, I hate the feeling I have to write something, I'd rather do it whenever I find something worth talking about. And I can talk a lot about Music. So I decided I will put up a Music - blog. Either in a week, maybe tomorrow or even today, I have yet to decide. I will announce when it's running then.
I'll still update this blog right here though, don't get me wrong, I just think the music blog will be updated more frequently.

Gears of War 3 Release

There are few games in this world that make fans celebrate countdown parties. In the past, milestones like Halo 3 or World of Warcraft were needed, just to name a few. Now Gears of War 3 is at the ready to finish the chronicles of Marcus Fenix.

About 479 GAME and GameStation stores have promised to open up in the UK for midnight, with 20,000 shops worldwide opening its doors for tonight.

Finished Dead Island already? Trade it for Gears of War 3

HMV offers to you to trade in UK's current number one title Dead Island for Gears of War 3 for a surcharge of £1.99. Not to be outdone, GAME will also sell you Gears of War 3 for £4.99, which let’s be honest, HMV’s offer outdoes GAME by £3, when you trade-in Dead Island, Driver: San Francisco or Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

Gears of War 3 Reviews

Official Xbox Magazine: 10/10
“Quite simply, Gears of War 3 leaves no stone unturned – it’s everything a triple-A blockbuster should be.”

Guardian: 5/5
“Committed gamers know what to expect from the Gears Of War franchise, and Gears Of War 3 will tick all of their boxes. Chainsaw bayonets and blood spatters: tick. Hulking space marines: tick. Chest-high walls and new and interesting ways to blast the Locust troops: tick.”

Digital Spy: 5/5
“…it’s the great bump in visual quality, the diverse and engaging campaign that never lets up, and a universe that finally catches your interest that impresses the most.”

Joystiq: 5/5
“Between the pacing and the attention to detail visually, auditorially, and narratively, it’s also the best campaign Epic’s ever done, and one of the most exciting, consistent campaign experiences on the Xbox 360, or any other system for that matter.”

Giant Bomb: 5/5
“The members of Delta Squad have finally found some closure, and, for all of the derisive things the world lobs at Gears’ totally-broed-out motif, the story even manages to be touching on multiple occasions. It’s a joy to play, and the game’s expanded set of multiplayer options will give you plenty of things to keep you busy for a good, long time. Oh, and Ice-T’s pretty great in it, too.”

Game Informer: 9.5/10
“This is the best execution yet of an idea that spawned one of the biggest modern franchises in all of gaming. What’s not to love?”

GameSpot: 9.5/10
“Even if you don’t remember where you were on Emergence Day, this is one adventure you won’t soon forget.”

Unreal Tournament 3, now with Nyan Redeemer

A group of three dedicated UT3 players decided it's time to follow the hype of Nyan Cat.
The result was a mod for the nuclear weapon of mass destruction: the Redeemer.

This mod replaces the original Redeemer with the Nyan Cat Redeemer. A nice feature: the closer you are to the cat, the louder the music will get.

Killmessages: Player1 got Nyan'd by Player2. And loved it!

Redesign [+ Scene]

So basically what's up is that I've wasted approximately 4 hours on doing a Redesign just to notice you can NOT save your work with the testversion of Artisteer. Seriously, do not bother using this program! Cracked versions as well as test versions are not able to save your work. The program crashed like 3 minutes before I was done and when I started over again, it crashed halfway. Rage level was uncontrollable...
You know that feeling when you spent hours on doing something creative and then your program goes "NOPE.AVI" and you end up having your time wasted?

I was so pissed, I didn't even have the motivation to write, edit scenes or play anymore. So, sorry if I neglected not only my but also your, my follower's, blogs.

As a compensation, have my personal NOPE.avi scene I did just now.

[UT3 Scene] High Distance Enforcer Fling Shot

First minute on a server I didn't know. I thought the taxirun they tried to pull off was already undeniable anymore, but I tried my luck and succeeded. See for yourself:

[UT3 Scene] Triple Accidential Teamkill

Well, crap, he should be pretty pissed at me (yes, it's all the same person).
  • First time I just wanted to boost him (meaning I'll speed him forward so he can score faster)
  • Second time I saw he couldn't reach the flag, so I tried to push him up
  • Third time wasn't really my fault; wanted to do a taxi run with him, he ungrappled to take the flag and got crushed by a spawning vehicle... LOL

Anyway, enjoy

P.S.: Teamkill was disabled, that's why I didn't think I'd kill him ;)
