GoW3 Add-ons + Season Pass

Although Gears of War 3 is still weeks away from the final release, Epic has announced there will be several add-ons released. The first of them will be released this November.
Those add-ons are supposedly a must-have for any fan of the Gears series. They will be adding hours of campaign and multiplayer mayhem.
The Gears of War 3 Season Pass will be available on September 20th, the day of the GoW3 release, and will cost 2400 Microsoft points on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
The advantage of purchasing a Season Pass versus purchasing all add-ons individually will be a 33% saving, plus it will include a Liquid Metal Weapon Set.

Gears of War is undeniably one of the most celebrated sagas in video gaming. Statistics now confirm this: The third part of the series has surpassed a spectacular 1.3 Million pre-orders worldwide! That makes it the fastest pre-selling Xbox exclusive in the history of the platform.
Already 20 million matches have been played in the multiplayer beta this spring.

  4. I worry if GoW 3 can live up to Part 1 or 2.
But it vertainly isn't rushed, what indicates a thorough development.

  6. I'm a sucker of sequels and prequels of a series I played bf, as long as they don't become too horrible...have to wait and see

  7. I was actually looking forward to this game, but then selfless pandering and releasing addons to the campaign about a month or two after it's release has put me off now if I'm honest. If it's that vital to a fan then include it in the full game. I can understand wanting to add more things to it but don't do it so soon. Then again they could have just run out of disk space I guess, which would make it an alright thing to do.

  14. To me the most interesting thing here is that they're thinking about what stuff to add after they release the game way before the game is actually released...

  18. I preferred Gears to the Halo games, the enemy in Halo were annoying more than threatening.

  23. DLC upsets me if it's buy to play

It does look quite good though, maybe it'll be worth buying

  24. The season pass is a pretty great idea actually, I wish COD would do the same thing. Downloading all the DLC costs just as much as the game!

  25. I hate how they thought a PC version is not necessary for GoW 2 and 3. :(
