Hawken

Adhesive Games has brought out a UDK-based Mech game called Hawken.
In case you don't know what UDK is, I will write an article about that later.

Hawken is basically a mech-themed FPS. Because it was created with UDK it's running on the Unreal Engine 3. The focus is on creating an intense and enjoyable battle experience that captures the feeling of piloting a heavy war machine while keeping the action fast-paced and strategic. The game offers two unique team game modes, as well as team deathmatch and free-for-all deathmatch.

  8. I remember seeing this awhile ago and thinking how amazing it looked. Reminds of that game Chromehounds for the 360, but waaaay more fast paced. Hopefully this games turns out to be awesome.

  13. Yeah, I need to get back into mech-fightan games. How I miss family nights back in California and Armored Core 1-3...

My entire family was in on those. Internal tournaments, always ranging from our best mech designs to "Ungah!" battles (using only the starter mech to fight one another), I refused to use anything other than humanoid legs each time.

    Ahhhh, good times...
